JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge

Team SMP had another great time participating in the 19th annual JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge on May 28, 2009 - albiet a rather wet one. Showers threatened during the afternoon, but then Mother Nature unleashed a torrential downpour as the racers lined up to start.

Twelve SMP employees were among the 414 participating Rochester companies, with over 9000 registered entrants. The theme of this year's race was "Teaming up for a Greener Tomorrow" and SMP promoted that message on their team t-shirts. By letting other runners know that we have saved 6.6 million in energy costs, Team SMP delivered an economical message for them to think about during the 3.5 mile run/walk.
