SMP offers a wide variety of Hardware and Software services. On the hardware side we integrate all additional options like CPU, memory, redundant fans, disk drives and PCI option cards. These components are configured to our customer’s specifications and burned in for a period of 24-72 hrs to uncover any component failures. Any failed component is replaced under the appropriate vendor warranty and replacement is burned in again. Raid controllers are also configured to customer specifications and burned in as well. The drive arrays are exercised also with diagnostic utilities.
On the Software side of the house SMP has extensive experience in image deployments using a variety of products. By utilizing Symantec Ghost, Altiris Deployment Server and other products, we are able to deploy several systems at once, whether they be servers, desktops or laptops.
